.... and are they supposed to look like this? i'm talking about the heat marks i think are from the balls.

i dont know much about sierra, this is a mates' sierra. we're pulling the front and rear diffs, and doing the bearings and all new seals.

thanks sam.

i know they are CVs, but i didnt know the heat marks would be normal. i thought maybe it was a lack of grease in the CVs. but what the heck, if its normal, then its normal.

also, do the splines come in 22 AND 26? or not?

yeah thats normal that just the factory heat treating on the cv bell...
