This may be little long winded, but if someone knows what I am on about, it should make sence.
I have just thrown a G16B into a sierra. I have integrated the 16B wiring harness into the sierra as best as I can tell.
* I can crank (the engine)
* I have spark
* I have fuel to the fuel rail
SHE WONT START!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have got an engine fault code 41 from the ECU. 41 relates to the ignition fail safe circuit, but the serial port at the ECU does not have the wire required.
The workshop manual says I should hve four wires at the ignitor, but I only have three. The plug only has three.
Any ideas?

g16b into a sierra won't start
Started it this afternoon..............Kikin Ass Baby!
Turns out that I was using a '92 5 door manual. Slighty different to the '94 3 door that I bought my engine from. There were only a few small differences, but it was enough to confuse me.
If anyone reading this has any wiring type questions related to EFI on a MPI 1600 Vit engine, ask away as I now have the best part of two manuals.
No exhaust yet,.............sounds great.
