lancruiser with ford motor
i got a mwb landcruiser fj73 which had a 3f petrol (heavy on juice and not enough power) so i put a ef ford falcon motor in it. just at the starting stage now put eb fuel injectiont on it to bypass smartlock
i used a Castlemain Rod Shop adaptor kit. which is straight forward if i was doing again i would get a custom sump made as CRS said to use a cortina sump but bolt holes are different and oil pump is larger.
I used and el falcon motor with eb fuel injaection to bypass smart lock.
i had a 2inch lift kit fitted with 3f engine in and when i took it out and put ford in front became 3 inch lift. But now i can keep up with lasest commodores and walk all over new hiluxes for around $3000 dolars total.

Flacon motor into a togo
hi there
Sounds like a great conversion - after fitting a 2h diesel to my BJ73 I assume the wirring would have been a nightmare - especially with all the electronic c--p on the falcon motor.
I would be curious to hear some fuel economy figures.
Hear from you soon
Wayne
