Just looking at this site and thought it would be good on here as their isn't much info around about it. I think as people in oz start building bigger rigs people may be more interested in this sort of approach to wheelbase.

i was going to do that before my defect notice screwed everything up. Still may do it once its back on the road. I'll then use some TJ extended flares that are emovable for the rear.
I like it because you could keep it straight as well so that it covers most of the wheels but gives you extended wheelbase. You could also keep it all removable with the body with some simple leaf spring mounts to the chassis and some bushers. I'l try get an example.

Pretty simple build if you consider what he has done. Still on standard diffs with 33's. SPOA ruf, 3/4 rear.
