i saw these for $33 a pair, you have to drill a hole to put them in tho

has anyone found any that bolt straight into a mitsu???

otherwise whats your oppinion on doing this as opposed to cutting the upper bumpstops

cutting (or m/c ing, if you have access to a mill) is a lot cheaper and will give you the same result. i m/c'd mine down to 15mm of rubber and they work fine.

i cut mine down on a ban saw and cleaned up with a linisher, now they look like they came out of the factory and didn't cost a cent....

i was thinking more so that the bump stop would still have its normal characteristics with regard to compression ............. being softer at the start and harder at the end rather than linier
wich it would be if you cut all of the sifter bit away

They look a bit like Push bike brakepads. The advantage with them is that you dont have the mounting bolts getting too close to the drop stop like with the standard cut down Mitsi ones.

There's someone here in the US who put on a similar set. There is an article on 4x4Wire. He does not mention having to drill. Here's a link..

thats because he was replacing the lower bumpstop not the upper and it is the same design as the low profile ones :)
