it'll definitely fit in there. you might have to move some of the mounting studs though.

edit: i am asuming you are talking about the mq h233 (small) rear diff.

you do realise that the standard steering won't work with the low pinion mq centre?

if it is for a custom application, go for it.

GQ front shares same spline count to the MQ

GQ rear is different.

You can just use the ring and pinion because the GQ front is high pinion and the MQ rear is low pinion. The gears wont fit.

no, MQ CV's and Axels will not fit a GQ,
as the spline count on the axels are different i believe, but the CVs seem to be the same size,

front centres are interchangeable as said above with abit of modding with the MQ rear centre.....

But as ive already told you before Ryan, MQ axle/CVs are no where near as wide for a start and wont fit anywhere near close to a GQ housing in length.....
The CVs in the bell themselves, are the same size and will fit in the hub but wont fit that end of the GQ axle and wont fit the GQ hub as the spline is different up that end.......

You can just use the ring and pinion because the GQ front is high pinion and the MQ rear is low pinion. The gears wont fit.
Other thing to keep in mind with this...

I believe the drive shaft bolt pattern and step into the pinion is different... between GQ shafts and MQ shafts, so i reckon youll need a moddified shaft with MQ shaft bolt pattern on the diff end....... :?:

as shawn said, GQ front is the same as MQ rear only....

GQ front axles are different splines to MQ front axles and both the CV end and the axle/centre end...

Just want some clarification...

So the rear R & P from the rear of a MQ will NOT fit onto a GQ front centre..

Other wise that would be good option get a genuine rear and scavange for cheap mq stuff...

This is correct... as the GQ front is high pinion and MQ rear is Low pinion....

You can however swap the whole MQ rear centre into the GQ front housing and then do a MQ/GQ knuckle swap to get the tie rod to the front of the diff.
