is it a full floater rear?

are they from a 60 series?

i heard that some jap spec cruisers were semi floater rears

if they are full floaters they are definantly worth it

should be very easy to fit them (bolt in) and the electronics wont be very hard

If i remember rightly, the factory sahara difflocks in the 60 were cable operated.

In the 80 series sahara, they were electrically operated.
If you want a spare 60 for bits-

If they are set up for coil springs and have electric lockers, they are from an 80 series. If they are set up for leafs and have cable lockers, they are from a 60 series. If a Landcruiser diff has a factory locker, the rear must be a full floater (some 4Runners have an electric locker on a semi floater rear).

I've read here how some 80 series drivers have upgraded to Nissan front diffs because of the weak crown and pinion gears in the 80, so obviously to them changing Nissan diffs to 80 series diffs is not an upgrade. I believe the crown and pinion is plenty strong in the 60 though. Just my opinion.
