tightening front wheel bearings
tightening front wheel bearings
i took my zook in for a pink slip and i need to tighten the front wheel bearings. (i know i should rebuilt but dun have the time at the moment.i will over crismas but) to tighten the bearings can this be dont with a big shifter or do i need to buy a or borrow a hub socket?

if you only have a 1/2 inch drive:-
Transquip Direct 1800 828 200 fax 0894375060 (they prefer to deliver to business address only so someone picks up the package)
50mm socket 3/4" drive (40mm inside reach) KC unit $26.50
Adapter 1/2"female to 3/4" male KTKC1234 $17.54
deliver in Australia. They are on the net.
The reach from the spindle end to the lock nut is 37mm so be careful when buying from another place to measure this internal depth.
