agreed, had 37 creepys and loved them, but my 36 pedes are heaps better in the mud, but i still think the creepys were better in everything else.

The tread pattern on the Creepy's doesn't look like it would clean out like a Simex or bogger in the mud.

The 14.5s are farkin HHHHUUUUUUGGGGGEEEEE

You will love em, Cranky.

10psi with no beadlocks...no problem. Get beadlocks and you can run em at 2psi with fark all loss in diff clearance  .

They are by far the best tyre I have been on in EVERY surface.

If I could root em....I would  :D

MT/Rs are quite good on rock. They certainly bag out nicely and provide excellent grip when they get warm. But they are no chop in any other surface.

The Creepies seem to only bag when you need them to. You don't lose a heap of diff clearance like on other tyres and they perform farkin great in all surfaces.

Post up some pics when you get em fitted Cranky.

This is my old 37s...

i think ppl put to much on tyres when i went to the xwc there were bfg krawlers,et,claws, creepies and at no stage did it look as 1 got more grip than the other. the driver, wheelbase and power come into it.

Am running 37x12.5x16 Creepies on a modded 1990 4Runner (1KZTE, Marlin Crawler, 5.29 diffs, twin ARB's, Longfield 30-spline super set, chromoly rear axle, SAS on coils, etc, etc) - the Creepies are awesome. Having previously run with ET's, in my opinion the Creepies are in the margin of 15-20% less efficient in deep mud (ET's allow one to idle through consequent of better tread clearing; Creepies require more revs to clear the tread); however, they win hands-down on all other terrain. Further, their on-road manners are excellent.

On the negative side:
1/ The Creepies are heavy and your componentry must be able to carry the additional shock loading
2/ They do crown heavily - this requires a minimum of 8" rim (preferably 10"), and as each vehicle's weight is different, deflate tyre pressures until the crowning is no longer apparent.

I run mine at 14PSI on road, and 5PSI offroad (no beadlocks & no worries).

Well the 38.5's finally turned up..

These things are BIG.. bloody heavy too.. stuck em on this arvo to c wat they were like ;D

I reckon they will be good but woulda liked em to b a bit more chunky... but u git wat ya can git ;)

Image

They are definatly bigger than the pedes.. and if u look close at the top of the creepys u can the top[ of the tyre has "crowned".. they dont like havin too much pressure in them,. this is with only 30psi in em..

as u can c i jsut need to trim a little bit.. but its bugger all which is good
