12V pressure switch

Post by sootygu »

I am about to install an on board compressor using a SD508 a/c compressor. Trying to source a 12v pressure switch similar to those on a 240v, I want to ensure that when the unit cuts out at max pressure the air is released between the unit and the switch.

Are 12v units available and where can they be sourced, or can 240v units be used.

Thanks

You can use a 240V switch, just get it from a compressor supply place.

You shouldn't pay anymore than about $60-70 for a 240v Condor pressure switch but I am unsure of prices for the 12v jobs (other than Bigballs) as virtually no one stocks them.
