I'm considering an RB 30 engine transfer into mine, as I want to stay under 3.3L for winch challenge, and am thinking of running the VL auto box and divorsed t/fer, Can you get rock hopper gears for MQ/K divorsed transfers, I was also going to have my gearbox and t/fer nearly touching each other, is there any reason why you have them about 1 foot apart, was it easier to get a shaft to join them this way, I'm looking at doing this to my shorty after the rear diff gets moved back and coil conversion done, this should give me a bit more room. ;)

actually, i think you can. the TX10A calmini kit should be a goer. someone who knows more about MQ junk than me would have to confirm it though.

To all counts of my knowledge, gearing is not available on MQ/MK transfers, trust me ive tried....
rockhoppers are definatly not a goer....

i have contacted marks in the past and they have said if i give them 10,000 and 5 transfers they will make some up playing with the first transfer as a doner....
and it would only end up with a reduction of about 35 percent.....
obviously i didnt bother
