just replaced clutch,now the gears are hard to select and reverse is impossible when hot. has anybody got any idea's

Did you bleed the clutch hydraulics? Id start looking around there.

yeh did all that even had the slave resleeved still no change

Sounds like the clutch is draging. Did you put it in the right way around? Is the spigot bearing in all the way? Is the input shaft ok, letting the clutch plate slide along it? Some ideas for you.
Allways been a TOYOTA man.
Now I'm old and grumpy as well.

will have to check those ideas as it was working ok before i know the clutch plate can only go on one way thanks for the other ideas
