Just installed an ELV socket in the rear of my GQ running off the 2nd battery. I'll be making up a 'socket box' to plug into it.
Can anyone tell me which of the pins should be connected to +ve and which to -ve? There are no markings on them.
The two pins are positioned like a 'T'.
I know that I can just wire my plug to suit but I want to ensure I get it the right way round by proper convention.
Cheers
Baz

Dunno about you guys, but the standard we've always adhered to here in VIC is TOP = minus = -ve
Vertical = +ve.
Not a HUGE issue, so long as you stick to the same with all your equipment and ALWAYS check what polarity other people might use on theirs if you're plugging somebody elses gear in.
