radiator,shroud q's with lift
looking at doing my bodylift on my 94 lux,2 inch is all im after. is it true that i have to change all the fan, shroud setup. and did i also see something about the fan hitting the radiator pipe that runs across the bottom, any help would be appreciated. it looks to me like it would clear???
Radiator
Its very true but I have solved the problem by lowering my radiator back down to its original position in relationship to the motor. I used two pieces of flat bar to reposition the mounting holes. I welded two 5/16" countersunk capscrews positioned exactly 2" below the 5/16" mounting holes. Then I bolt the flat bars to the front apron leaving me with the new studs positioned 2" lower to mount the radiator. My truck has had over heating problems for ages until I did this mod. I have cained the hell out of it now and she never gets hot at all.
