Can't switch from Sub to Main tank - 2000 100 series Cruiser

Post by Cruiser_dude »

Hi All,

I have just purchased a 100 series GXL cruiser and the Sub light is staying on and won't go off. I have tried pressing the sub button with and without the engine running. Has anyone else had this problem or know of a solution?
Thanks.

I had this problem when my sub tank was removed for my LPG tank

I think i disconnected the battery , so it could reset itself

then i pulled the switch out and dissconected the plugs on the back

Mate has the same problem in his 80 series... when gas tank was fitted, now the sub tank light stays on... i think it can be fixed by searching for the sender wires and joining them... Someone else may have a more scientific approach :D
Cheers,
Dan.

Thanks for the replies guys. I pulled the switch out of the dash and it seems to have been out of place slightly and the dash panel wasn't clipped in properly so it was out of place also. I fixed the dash and put the switch back in and she's all fine now.
Cheers.
