Split Hose

Post by HRZOOK »

When you do a bodylift the hose/pipe pictured below can split be careful to adjust so it doesn't

There's the tech :D

Now does any body have a spare one lying around?

Cheers

Just tape it. The tape on my survived at least a year. If it breaks tape it again. Why bother with anything else.

Because it proably isn't 100% air tight hence dirty air gets sucked into engine...may as well throw away air filter :?

Well i suppose it depends upon where the split is. Mine was in the middle. I removed the hose and cleaned it before taping. and then taped the entire hose in duct tape. I can't say for sure that it was a 100% sealed because i had no way of testing it. But i do doubt that there was any leak.
