The Prado in Oz is a independant front end, in some other countries the Landcruiser Mark 2 [not imported into OZ] in great numbers, is also called a Prado. Its like a Oz troopcarrier with coil springs front and rear, with solid axles front and rear, also available in 4door versions.
"Gravitron " : drives the first layer of Gravity
Ask the same question but say Bundera or LJ front end, instead of prado! Same gear i think. My understanding is that this is the axle of choice for solid coil conversoins on all manner of medium sized fourbies!padero wrote:yeh thats the version, wonder why you guys dont get it ?? take from the lack of repiles not many people have done it or seen it done before then ??
Or contact Cheezy - i think he's done at least one 4runner!

On second thoughts, maybe you should keep your paj (cheezy's work. Bundy/prado axle i think):
