GQ Diff (Will it fit??)

I have drum brake rear ender GQ at the moment and i bought a disc brake housing with axles, rotors, calipers etc planning swapping the on putting the drum centre in the disc housing.
Will this fit?
And what air locker do i need..... disc or drum style?

The Drum Centre will not work in the disc housing. IF that is what you are asking.....

The disc housing WILL completely bolt in, in place of the drum housing. Ie; all trailing arm, panhard mounts, brake lines etc are the same..

Make sure the two housing have the same ratio's. Most likely both will be 4.1 but you could be unlucky..

I beleive it all fits, same susp set up etc, just different diff

I would compare the centers.......as I did the swap in a SWB GQ many years ago and the center wer the same.

i recall reading something about the exles in the drim brake diff being 10mm longer, or something, had somethign to do with somehting in the diff centre,

i may be wrong, but was something wierd like that,

That sounds about right ozy there is a specific reason.. Yeah mounts for arms etc are all in the exact same place. It is a simple bolt up, did it with mine...

You can't swap centres between the two. Can only swap over complete housings..
