Hey all, at the moment i am half way through changing the axle seals on a 91 GXL full time 4wd 80 series. one question that is stalling the operation. How hard is it to get the axle back into the diff once i pull it out???? How many people have done this and how difficult was it to do the whole job? I am at the stage now where i can see the CV joint. How much harder does it get? or is it fairly straight forward?
Cheers in advance
Troy

re front diff
hey dude
it aint that hard just takes a bit of a wiggling and jiggling , o and hold your tongue just right .
but seriously it is pretty straightforward . the tricky bit is getting the inner seals in straight and undamaged . i use a shocky washer from an old front shock welded to a long 14mm bolt .
anyway good luck .
