Glad I turned left to head towards the coast road and not right to follow behind Pete.Shorty40 wrote:That would have been funny to seeRUFF wrote:No it wasnt i was the one sitting in a moon buggy trying to start it and drive it off the trailer and down the Gateway Motorway as the cops pulled uplargesuzy wrote:man that was funny when it happened on the gateway, tom explaining it was the funniest bit thouThe cops were pretty cool about it though

Did Pete A tell you about his trailer issues on the way home ? He did a bearing. Michael Ellem and I were umbrella holders while Pete and TAZZ went all bush mechanic on the trailerAt one stage TAZZ suggested he could drive Petes buggy into Tenterfield
Yes because the centre diff didnt fail due to lack of oil or misuse. It failed because it was assembled wrong in the first place. It was missing the 2 thrust washers from under the drive gears. So it had way too much back lash and the gears were not meshing correctly. This was in no way caused from too many front diggs.ISUZUROVER wrote:WOW - I notice the Macnamara cross-shaft held up fine!not2.8 wrote:WHAT NOT TO DO TO A LT230 CENTRE DIFF LOCK
