Bad news....sort of

Went out to Appin to for an easy run
Just wanted to make sure of a few easy track for next weekend

Well I decided to move a dumped car off the track and cooked the clutch a little (alright a lot)
About five minutes later went over a washout at a decent speed and no more drive. nothing, just a hand full of neutral

Out of blue came two nissans, the only other trucks saw all day, from On All Fours club down from Lithgow who towed me to the main gravel road.

Just when they were about to leave us a bloke from the arport came along with keys to the gate so they towed me the full length of the gravel road down to the collery gate
Thanks guys champion effort to get me out to where I could arrange other help

A quick phone call to Mousie who was helping FamilyBus work on the boat and they were on their way.
Flat tow from Appin to Raby with the FamilyBus Patrol.
Thanks a million guys
Thanks Harv for tooting the horn and giving a wave to all enjoying the sun out the front as we passed the pub, rub it in

Trucks back home hopeing it's only the cluch, won't know until i strip it down tomorrow

Next week end is still on even if I gave to swallow some brave pills (beer) and go navvie in mousies truck

I hate breaking shit, if it's gonna break I want total destructions at least the I would have some decent photos to post, not just no bloody drive

A well thats how it goes hope its no too hot tomorrow

cheers
wayne

EDIT 26/01 20:29 Diagnosis- Thinking it was related to my selection prob pulled both levers out and all was find.
Then I crawled under and removed two screws from the clutch inspection cover squeezed my hand up and pulled out a hand full of clutch fluffy plate
seems I have like totally destructed the clutch

how did it go? who went???

i couldnt come as i droped the paj into a rather deep puddle out at londonderry on friday night.

it didnt look that deep as it was only the width of the car and about 10m long. i drove in slowly until the bonet droped under water and i nearly shit myself :bad-words: :bad-words: , put it in reverse and managed to reverse about a meter only to get stuck on something and not be able to go foward or backward. i looked out the window to see the water almost to the top of my parkers and at the rear where the blinkers are in the middle of the two brake lights.
told my 'mate' to get his snatch out and drag me out. and you know what the first thing to come out of his mouth is??? get yours out i dont want to get mine dirty!!! im thinking you farking prick!!!
after screaming at him a bit more one of my other mates jumps out and grabs his snatch and hooks me up and they towed me out.
so i was lucky the water only got to just below the gear boot.
i still cant beleive the prick wanted me to rummage around the back of my car to find my snatch strap just because he doesnt want to get his dirty.
so as you can imagine i have had a fun weekend striping the car and cleaning it.
good thing there isnt any carpet in it.
gotta love the limited edition

i always knew there were deep puddles out there that have swallowed cruisers and patrols but i imagined them to look a bit bigger than that.
i didnt even make it half way before the bonet went under and this puddle was tiny in comparison to some of the others i have seen out there.

Sad to hear you had dramas. It didnt even sound funny at all. As for the bloke who wouldnt use his snatch. . Mate its only a snatch, plenty more out there and im sure if it got stuffed jtop woulda got ya a new one anyway. What comes around goes around my friend. my tools get used more on other rigs than mine and you dont hear me haveing a cry.

Anyway, Its got its own thread in trips and tracks. Met up with a few blokes from wollogong to make things intresting. Im gunna have to take a look at this londonderry place one day soon.

he borrowed it of someone and they dont want to get it back as they dont need it.

so the prick didnt even pay for it :x
