Engine/Gearbox/Trans Weights

Post by MY45 »

Had a bit of a search and couldnt find too much on the weights of the rover drive tran. I found the 3.5 weighs aboyut 144kg, but im also after the 3.9 (is there any differance), the ZF Auto and the transfer case.

Rover 3.5 V8 as fitted to the first Range Rovers 170kg (375 lb)

the 144Kgs you mentioned is from the older original buick motor. it changed slightly when used by rover and hence the difference in weight.

Cheers
Anthony

ps. still searchin ;)
