What Springs For a lift on a TDI Disco

Post by Tobias »

I've got a 96 Disco TDI with dual bat, and ARB steel bullbar at the moment i'm running king springs Heavey Duty (180lbs/ich i think) with koni shocks in the front. The springs are ment to give a 40mm lift over standard but i think it's more like 20mm. I would like a 3inch lift in the front but don't want to use spacers and and i don't want have springs that are to stiff to flex.

King springs don't really offer any other springs for the front other than fitting raised rears to the front which i tried and it gives about 3 and 1/2 inch lift and makes the ride far to stiff. In the rear i have a 3inch lift with (220lbs/inch). Any ideas would be welcome.
88' rangie, 2inch spring lift 1inch body. snorkel Front Air locker Rear Maxi Drive locker, 265/75 BFG mud few other mods.

Have a look here http://members.shaw.ca/jbarge/springinfo.html

Maybe something like 17" free length 220lbs would be suitable..
