LPG Tank location

LPG Tank location
Was wondering where everyone has thier tanks located, In my Rangie it runs across behind the back seat in the 2 door but was thinking of moving it so it runs up/down, fwd/aft you know what I mean on the LHS where the spare use to be. I'm after some photos so i can see how it's done
Also does the cradle have to be engineered/checked out by some one and if anyone knows if I can actually do it legally (I don't mean the cradle) but having the tank there.
TIA

There is no such thing as a stupid question only stupid people
I think as long as its vented to the outside it should be ok, the cradles are only rhs or angle iron so as long as its secure i cant see any reason why you cant make it yourself. Internally lhs would be my choice of location.
Saddle up tonto, its the not so loanrangie! . 98 TDI DISCO lightly modded with more to come.
I did the very same thing in one of my rangies. The tank was mounted east wet behind the back seat and I moved it north south on the left hand side. Very easy to do, particularily if it has flexible lines. As has been said - you need to make sure it is externally vented. Also note the current position of the tank cause if you rotate it, it will affect how much you can put in it.
Warn - Dont leave home without it
