Methonal is a beautiful thing. The speedway rocks. my brother inlaw has a cortina with a 4.1 alloy, running SS ( Harley) Pistons in it on methanol. the motors 5 seasons old and is still competative

ok...we are trying it on a different dyno this week.. it is a twin retard dyno dynamics so hopefully will get some numbers this time as it just blew the tyres off again on Saturday...i will also get some video of it this week as well....

i have the video of a run today..we finally got it to not turn the tyres too hard on the dyno and it made 857.4hp on 9 psi boost..only thing is the convertor is not locking up early enough and basically it is slipping when the turbo comes on boost so we only did two runs this morning...box got taken out today and the converter is getting rebuilt now...will all be back in the car for another run on Thursday morning...things are looking more promising now and we will hopefully be able to put a bit of tune in it for Thursday
