hilux diff - one last question...
im about to do a hilux diff conversion into my gemini and wanna know if all the modles (80 througth mid 90's) are all basicly the same?? centers bearings axels (depending on length) etc interchangable???
or are the differances?? if so which would be the strongest item to pic? any advantages one may have over the other?? etc..

The V6 diffs have a bit of extra webbing cast into the housing and have bigger bearings I think.
All use the same axles (apart from different length for IFS models).
Strength depends on ratio (as in all diffs) 4.1s are pretty strong.
You can also get cryo treated crownwheel and pinions from the US as well as Chromoly axles.
