Hi there,
A long time ago I asked here about the idler pulleys that tension the belt for the alternator, etc.
Someone replied and stated that they thought that the air con pulley from an EA falcon would work, so long as it has a spacer behind it.
Well.... today after many many months of putting up with the noise, I replaced one of them. Though the falcon part wouldn't work. It is similar to the mitsu part, but the centre diameter is too large.
Anyways, I didn't get that part, but instead got a Hyundai part which is the same, but half the price as the correct part. If anyone wants the part number, let me know.
Now though, I have another noise, which is pretty much the same as the one I was trying to stop. Could it be my waterpump? Am I able to pump some grease into it?

The details
Hi
Sorry for taking so long to do this...
The part was bought from Pep Parts
It's made by Partech and is listed as a Timeing Belt Tensioner.
The part number on the box is PBT90
It does actually say on the box that it is for a Hyundai + Mitsubishi
If the number is wrong, let me know. I still have the box, which does have some more numbers, but I think the one quoted is correct
