Getting Sliders made..

Hey guys I am Wanting to get some sliders made for My MAV But don't really wanna pay $900 there asking in shops..
I don't have access to metal working Gear (welder ect..)

Question is would any body be willing to Make some Sliders up for me? Obviously I would buy Materials and pay for time ect..

How much wouldi be looking at? And would any one be interested.
I am in brisbane... And will be looking at getting something done hopefully within the month..

Try On Track 4WD at Slacks Creek I am sure if you say you have a budget they can work someting out.

Price is generally a reflection of quality, save up some extra cash and buy/make a good set. Especially when they will cop an absolute flogging.

You could try Kane at Komited Kustoms 0410 406 792, but he's up on the Sunshine Coast. He made my sliders which come up great!!! I'm sure he could do them for a fair bit less than $900....

Try Custom Off Road in Stafford.

They specialise in vee dubs, but made me a great tube bar and slider set for my zook.

Reasonable price and great work.

the day i started making sliders for my truck, my mig suffered terminal meltdown. by the time i finished them i had super strong sliders, a new 170amp stick welder and a new 15in makita metal docking saw all for under a $800.

my point is it may be easier to justify spending the money if you get something to mod other stuff as well. ive since made a front tube bar a twin rear wheel carrier/bar all for cost of materials only.

im a chippy by trade and self taught on the welder, you just gotta take your time ask quetions and in the end you get what you want not what they give you. more rewarding also when you can tell someone you did it yourself.

how big is your garage it isn't as hard as you think i made mine out of leftovers the hard bit is to mount them.I didn't want weld them to the chassis so i made brackets which clamp around it so it can come off :D

Ring Mick from Hard Core 4x4 (No. in my sig line). him and his business partner Brett do awesome bar work. Check out the bar work on their 80's and the bob tray on Mick's dual cab 80.

They're located at Elimbah, just out of Caboolture.
