I am really glad to hear it is going to be a rover.
The scrutineering happened at about 8 oclock at night last time with a torch and much relying on driver honesty. This happened after we where all asked to have our cars there a day early.
The scruitineering last year was pretty dodgy, so some organisation should help to make the weekend that bit better + notification of whether sponsor shirts will have to be worn.
Good luck with your organising BasketCase.

I second the comment re: notice regarding sponsors shirts. I realise that the event sponsors want coverage but competitors did not receive any notice last year of the fact shirts would be provided and expected to be worn throughout. Some teams (not us) had obviously spent considerable money and effort acquiring team shirts which they could not wear.

I would also say that if you are providing shirts for competition please consider the colour and weight of the shirt as competitors do a lot of running around in the hot october sun.

Stop ya whinging. It's easier to wear a shirt that's too big than too small :) , in fact it's also easier to put weight on than lose it so get out and eat more pies & maccas until the shirt fits :)

if i ate any more maccas id turn into a qtr pounder.....

I reackon individual teams organising their own shirts would be a better idea, it sets everyone apart more... and solves any shirt dramas aswell as cutting costs.

If the sponsors need all their logos spalltered everywhere get more signs and more banners.... i think last year was overkill... all my own humble opinion...

And again teams last year went to sum trouble to have shirts made, these shirts may or may not have had the teams sponsors logos and may have even been sponsor funded. all to be put aside for the wekeend and replace by a rather thick heavy oversized collar shirt...

Cheers
Anthony

p.s. its pretty obvious i didnt like the shirts ha

Entries have not started yet. Wont do so for a little bit yet.

The shirt issue everyone is talking about from last year will not be an issue again this year. Everyone can wear what ever they want.

Hey Johnny Team Confusion could be in an even worse state by the time we get there... and the night before we leave because I hear we are putting in for a truck to get our cars there... that leaves a minibus for the team... it's gonna be a long trip...

Oh. I don't know why your givin us grief about our tires either. We took your advice and this year we talked our mums into buyin 34". We will be looking for the win!!

Actually it could be good being a little further away. Some of the local teams (anyone in the SE corner is more local than us) might stay around on sunday night and come to the Confusion Camp for a "quiet" drink. You'll be staying around won't ya Johnny?

That was going to be an option. But realised that would be to many people would not happy about 1 possibly not competing.

There must be a snitch in the club if that got out :x

As antt says I am finalising the rules right now and I will be opening up entrys in about 3 weeks at our June meeting.

Anyone interested on coming to the meeting to enter there and then give me a call on 0421724414. Or email me on dantrotman@optusnet.com.au Remember your team will not be officially entered until entry fee is paid.
