Bull Bar Plans
Bull Bar Plans
Hey guys.
I want to change my bull bar, and am thinking of making a new one, but I want it to be tough, well designed and tested.
I want to fit my Warn M8274-50 winch in it.
I saw the ARB model, but I want something better,I want to build one.
Do you have any suggestions, maybe plans or photos or model description.
Thanks a miliion.

Nice Bar, But I got an M8274-50, which takes quite some space.
Plus I want to make it on my own, I got an excellent welder here, I need plans or details to make it.
Thanks guys.

Actually I have the quite same design on my car...and the 8274 is sitting there just fine...(but I "push" it back as much as I could - replaceing the oil radiator to the other side of the water radiator...).
Here you have a pic of mine (just to see the 8274...)
Plans...hmmmm...who need it?!?
Advice: make the first the winch support. Then the left and right sides....Then the upper and lower bars.
Regards, Gabriel

GQ MWB 105 ", DID Mitsubishi engine with big turbo, fiber glass body, Boogger 38.5/11/16, 2x8274, 5 link front, triangulated 4-link rear, SAW 14" and 16" coil-overs, , 5.1 r&p.
I made my own, not on a Patrol but the same concept can be applied to anything, We simply boxed in the chassis, ran a bar of each side with supports and a stinger style (A lot smaller) with mounts for lights).
It took about 8 hours and I have actually lifted my the whole vehicle with a crane of the front recovery points.
Its much more satisfying making something yourself as oposed to forking out a grand or so for a mass produced item who's brand shall remain nameless.
