The Old front diff is now out, new cross over arm done and front hilux diff temporarly sitting in place.
Have used a set of OLD rear springs in the front, i think they need to be a little flatter. They're 35" Baja Claws for scale and the car is not fitted with a body lift.
Well I'm guessing that they didn't think everyone would carry on like a big bunch of sooky girls over it like they have........
Flatter springs (have spares) this should do 2 inches approx
Normal shackles (not the whacky shackles presently fitted) 3/4 inch
Trim down spring pads on diff (they're quite tall) another inch
So 3 3/4 inches down it will go. The question now remains, WHY THE F^RK would someone lift a sierra more than 3 inches total to run 35's This SPOA thing is whack

Height now revised as is the wheelbase. I think i migt need to move the headlights.
Theoretyically the rear diff should be in as well. I just couldn't get the diff around the back of the hoist and "someone" borrowed the wheels and tyres off the zook diffs so i couldn't turn the car around.
Oh well, it will go in this week.

coming along nicely.
Just wondering if you are running the sierra steering box and if so how is it connected to the steer hubs, as the drag link is behind the axle on hilux diffs (on mine anyway). Is it as simple as turning the pitman arm around or is it more involved
keep this build detail going! i love it. This is exactly what i wana do sometime in the future.
Have you changed your mind on tyre size? Because you originally said you wanna run 31's. Thats plenty of lift & clearance for a set of 31's.
OK, so i've been busy and have hardly touched the zook.
Rear spring perches ready to weld on, if i get a chance i may just do that tonight. Then brake lines, driveshafts, tierod, drag link and its drivable again.
Then its cage time, i'm thinking it may be easier to fab the cage if it doesn't have a roof
