Hello i own a 92 feroza and have a couple of questions
1-has anybody moved the rear leaf springs above the axle housing and if so how hard was it
2-do you have to buy special shocks to comply with the three stage damper or don't bother reconnecting it,any help would be appreciated

Hi, moving the springs to on top of the axle has been done and results in way too much lift. The front end can't be easily adjusted to match. It's also illegal in most (all?) states- if that concerns you.
Ditch the three way shocks and buy some decent aftermarket ones. You'll have to unbolt the adjustment motors off the top of each shock to remove the old ones- a PITA to do.

a low spring over only nets around 4 inch lift
chuck out the ifs and put a solid axle in there

If you're going for a lift then off the shelf shocks won't be much good. You'll have to experiment and try to find something that's longer. Commodore wagon rear shocks will fit F300's (rear) and give a decent improvement in extended length with virtually the same compressed length. The good thing about that is you can get adjustable Koni's etc to fit Commodores.gardy wrote:any recomendations for some new shocks and roughly how much
