Things Already Done
Fuel injected 5K corolla motor and gearbox
31 inch MTR's large offset rims

I Plan to still drive it so I can't go to far

Things to do.

Put chopped soft top body on
LWB Chassis
Superior Engineering front and rear drop shackles.
Rear shock bar and front shock hoops and long series shocks
rockcrawler gears
ARB air lockers front and rear.
Roll cage
Tube front bar and custom tray.

Just waiting to sell my patrol to fund the project

Nice ´wheeling!
Judging from that vid, I think you should put the lockers at the top of your priority list,,,, then some gearing,,, then some flex,,, and on and on and on! :D
Keep it coming!
if you don´t know its impossible, you just might do it!

So essentially you're building up a different car? ie. body and chassis is different to the car pictured :?

If you're going to put a soft top body and LWB chassis on it why not just buy a LWB rag top to start with?

Or buy one now and swap the engine.

I Just brought this car for the motor and a bit of fun.
I am just waiting to pick the LWB chassis up. I already have the soft top body and have already cut it down. the lockers are sitting next to the body ready for the new chassis.
all I need is the time to put it together after I get the chassis next week end.(Hopefully) :D

What was involved in fitting the 5k + box to the sierra?
Did the motor come standard F/I?

The engine was already in the car when I brought it.
but the transfer hasn't been moved back, although the jack shaft is basicly 2 uni's welded together.
engine mounts are forward a bit.
it fits in the hole nicely
