I'll take a pic tomorrow and post it if nobody has beaten me to it.

In the meantime, easiest way to work out what to shave is to let the front wheel drop (either jack it or drive the other side onto somthing to get a bit of flex), then you'll see where the bumstop is.

If you look at the UPPER control arm (or wishbone, or whatever they call it), you'll see the TOP bumpstop which it rests on at full droop. That is the one to shave. You can do it with a sharp knife or similar.

Thnx, AJ.

But I know what the Bump stop is and how does it look like. I'm interested in the size of it left after the shaving. In other words should i cut off the hole bumpston or leave a bit of it?

Pics will be the best!

I'll get some pics tomorrow, but you can safely shave about half of the bumpstop off.

I cut the bumpstop about 2mm higher than the bolt heads so that the arm didn't rest against 'metal' at full droop. This has been fine, with no rubbing and the steering doesn't bind at all. ;)

Mac. :D
