i'm not 100% sure but i think it does but when going from 4 to 5 speed you need the tranfer drive gear off the 5 speeds output shaft.
see ya mav
mq
i have a 4spd on a 86 3.3 turbo diesel that had a 5 speed on it and still use the turbo diesel clutch and preasure plate. i had to modify the carrier for the throwout race but i did use the 5 spd carrier. if you go to the 5spd flywheel clutch and preasure plate and carrier yes it will fit. if you want to stay with the 4 spd gear you will have to have your carrier modified which wouldnt be difficult(lengthened about 10mm). and yes you would have to change your tailshafts and gearbox mounts on the chassis
5spd
at the time i could only afford the turbo diesel and for that matter couldnt find a 5spddumbdunce wrote:I'm a bit confused - did the 4spd come from a petrol model?
