No what drop boxes do is return the castor to its orginal position so it allows you to run genuine nissan bushes and not castor bushes or castor plates which can come loose.

The only negative part about drop boxes is that they hang down from the cross member but not that much and some people complain they get hung up.

Alot of people i know run drop boxes and no problem so if your looking for castor correction thats a bolt on and is reliable go drop boxes.

The ones i recommend are climax industrie boxes they are used on many comp trucks such as rohans supercharged middy so they can stand the punishement i have seen some boxes get smashed or dented when the driver hits something hard rohan has hit so much stuff on his cross memeber yet his drop boxes are ultra strong.

If you want some they are about $450

drop boxes

I was going to get drop boxes but at the time i didnt have the cash. I went plates and i think they work great. I got them installed and they welded the front instead of drilling. My patrol handles great now and seems to flex as good (if u can call it good) as any other patrol i have seen

Drop boxes are the ultimate in correcting castor after lifting your rig unless you can afford the $1500 for the aftermarket arms. Bolt in boxes are the go.
