This might sound stupid, but is there a part number on my Rancho Shocks. Had a bit of a look just now, but it was probably too dark. Just wanted to know so i can look up some specs on them. They are Rancho 9000's 5way adjustable on a 2in lifted cruiser. There were on the beast when i bought it.
Cheers...

On the bottom of the shock cast into the tube should start with RS90xx or RS91xx
rule of thum the lower the last 2 digits the longer the travel eg 9112 are 10" travel 9113 are 8"

Are you sure?
My ranchos: 9012 - 12" of travel, eye/eye "soft" valving
9009 - 10.75" of travel pin/eye. REALLY soft vlaving.
but... a 9036 has 15" of travel and the same valving as a 9012
I have a rancho book, and I really don't think there is any way to really "read" the rancho part numbers.
