Well my navi and I finally made it to BH. Our tow truck ran out of fuel, blew a tire, had flat batteries and had the rear brakes getting stuck on making the rear diff smoke heaps (and all this was on the first day). Yesterday we pulled the gearbox out of the patrol and replaced the clutch and we were waiting on steering arms from Sydney that didn't arrive because the truck had an accident. Hopefully they'll turn up tomorrow in BH. We are just at Hungry Jacks getting a burger before we head back to the pub to catch up with the other guys. Catch you guys later. Hopefully after the end of the comp this time  :D

Yip, best of luck to all the guys and any dolls. Wish I was there. Fingers crossed for Trent and Dave this year too (I assume they are in), had the pleasure of their company last year and they were bloody good.

It may be the file name for the pic - most likely the dot between 16 and 45. I know that pics don't show if there are spaces in the file name, so may be some other characters that it doesn't like. Try renaming to something simple.

Good luck to everyone, and I'm looking forward to pics and reports.

Wazza just told me just before that their tyres were a bit too big at scrutineering, so they decided to do some burnouts !..

last one....
News is, that since yesterday there has been lots of mechanical problems for quite a few trucks, either on their way to Broken Hill or while trialing their trucks......for a couple of trucks their turbo's went and now fixed, quite a few transmission/gearbox problems... workshop in Broken Hill doing overtime and work on trucks finishing around 3-5am this morning....Luckily all these problems are happening before comp starts....
