GU2.8T upgrade to TD42T Issues?

Post by blindreindeer »

Hi

I did a quick search in the archives with nil success.

Has anyone upgraded a 2.8 Turbo GU to a TD42T motor? I am aware of the drvrs side engine mount difference but what other challenges might I meet?

My donor vehicle has the complete driveline too if required.

Thanks
Peter

Thanks for the feedback guys.

The loom looks to be the mystery bit.

Is there anyone out there who has actually done this?

Thanks
Peter
