Who does Toyota high steer arms these days? I need a custom set....

Std arms break! I've now seen Yuri snap one off and boof break the side out of the stud holes. I've already made a set of std ones cut and shut to get what I want but I've thought better of it..

What I need are basically flat arms (or stepped up ones like normal hi-steer) without the holes for the TRE. So just a bit of flat bar with 4 tappered holes and a bearing spigot pressed in. Not so hard to do but it's difficult for us to find the time.

These are for our buggy so they will cop a beating!!

Hey beebee was looking at getting a welded double arm,
have you seen one of these break?
Or would money be better spent on high steer arms?

I've seen std arms break so a welded arm won't be any better after the welding process. My histeer arms are cracked and twisted so I wouldn't recommend them either. At least they bend before breaking.....

After doing a little searching around, the M&M Custom Engineering ones seem to be the best available.

the old chaos cross over arm.

This one i had specially ordered with both tie rod holes tapered from the bottom, this allowed me to run a lower lift without chassis / draglink interference.

$600 sounds a bit rich to me?
Didn't they use to sell for $390?
How long have you had it?
Can anyone confirm what material standard steering arms are made from? 4140?

Cant remember how much it cost, but it doesn't matter any ways, my dog just passed away, cost me a heap of money so i can't afford to upgrade to hysteer.

No1 Has the Y arm in stock since ORI went outa bussiness.

M&M are going to be supplying them as they got the pattern for it to get them made.

Dont know when they will be ready suggested price was around $550-$600

And they will taper the botom or top to suit your lift

We have decided to make our own arms. They will be flat and probably out of Bisalloy. They will be fully welded to the swivel hubs to try and prevent breakages. Swivel hub failure will be something that we will have to live with.
