Anyhow;
Less-than-stock flex (rear wheel's lifting - front doesn't have far to go)) Lockers make up the difference.
Havn't got it dirty on the JT's yet - i'll update come the weekend!
For the record - very happy with the JT's! Claws through anything like a tractor.

94 Cruiser, pride and joy, has JVC stereo and crappy 305 Wranglers. I moved the bullbar 2inch forward and have added alloy checkerplate under the front.
My new hilux, will edit pic in a couple of months when it will be more respectable.
Twin air lockers, 33's and a bit of suspension work
Edited with different pics...

As for price, a nice round figure would be 10k, this includes the lift kit, install, wheels, tyres, speedo correction, engineers report and wheel alignment, just the kit alone is $5500 + fitting from My4x4.com.au, if you would like to see it in person it will be on display at the national 4x4 show in Sydney at the my4x4.com.au stand.
Can I ask who did you get you 3.5" suspension lift from and how much did it set you back?
Also, how do you find the hilux with the 285's?
Do you have to change diff ratios to make it drive okay or is it sluggish upon take-off?
Thanks mate,
Max.
Sorry just read you post again and I did'nt answer all you questions.
The tyres are so much better than the standard shit, diff ratios haven't been changed, but would consider it at the right price as there expensive, as for sluggish it has changed the gearing a bit but the big gusty V6 has the grunt to still pull very hard (Cant smoke the new tyres, like I could the old)
24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not.
81 4spd 60 series. 2H diesel. Commodore supercharger. Rear disc conversion. 4.88 diffs with ARB's front and rear. 6hp highmount. 2" spring lift. 2" body lift. Q78 swampers. Big nut behind the wheel. Custom bars. HID's and some other crap lights. Lots of rust..eerrrrrr weight reduction oxidisation.

This is my old rig
87 Hilux, 2.4L Diesel, 3 Inch Lift (from memory), set of Kelly Safari MSR's, and a Safari Snorkel and that was about it
New Rig
04 Hilux, 3.0L Turbo Diesel, 2 Inch Body Lift, and 1.5 Inch Suspension Lift, had the MSR's on it when this was taken but now has Maxxis Bravo's, will soon have an ARB Front Air Locker due to a small Hill-Climb at Landcruiser Mountain Park last weekend
