60 series and 40 series rear axle shafts
just a quick question, are the short side rear axle shafts from a 60 series the same length as the short side ones from a 40 series?
i know they are on the front.

the 3 inches is added to the long side axle, while keeping the short side the same lengthHamo wrote:If a 60 series diff is 3" wider than a 40 series diff how can the axles be the same length?
that's the reason the pumpkin gets in the way at the front when you put 60 diffs under a 40. it's "more offset" from center than 40/70 housings
