gearbox questions (transfer case)

Post by ellard »

Hi there all

I am after some information from the forum.

I want to convert my vacum opperated 4x4 selection back to the manual floor lever system (HJ 73) - to do this are you able to change a transfere case without removing the gearbox.

Looking forwards to your input to this question:

Many thanks

Yes you can. You may have to drop the gearbox crossmember to allow the transfer case halves to separate. The tubular crossmember behind it sits too close.

You are "Wayne BJ73", aren't you?
