Howdy,
Just wondering... is the diagnostic port under the steering wheel a standard OBDI or OBDII port?
Mate has an Audi with an ANSI OBDII port and an adpater and a little program that runs on his ipaq that displays lots of info.
I was wondering if you can do the same for the GU, interested in getting temperature readings out of it.
Anyone done this?
Regards.

GU III 3.0l TDi Diagnostic port
My understanding is that the GU uses a Nissan CONSULT port... similar to the 200SX, silvia's etc..
The CONSULT port can be found under the Steering Column.
Australian Cars are not required to have an OBDII port.
