Welcome to you all!

I have to excuse my english as well, especially all terms which have to do with cars! :D

My Name is Kerstin, I come from the south of Germany and I am driving a 92 Daihatsu Feroza.

Modyfied: OME shock absorbers and springs(Leaf??) which elevated the car about 5 cm, wheels at the moment 225/75 R15, Yokohama AT, I am planning 30x9,5 Mastercraft MTs and perhaps a bodylift (which actually is NOT necessary, but would look good! (I`m a woman ;) ))

I like doing offroad, we have some nice places to go to but here in germany everything is ruled by the authorities! Awfulll,I tell ya!

Now I have to do a lot of reading here....see you!

Bye Kerstin

Hey

I live in Melbourne SE suburbs, I drive a 92 Feroza. This is my first 4WD and I reckon it’s awesome.

Currently the car does not have to many mods It has a CB and CD player.

However in the next couple of weeks It will get a set of 235/75/15 MTR’s and a 2” body lift. After that I will probably chuck on a filter and maybe a set of extractors / exhaust to open her up a bit.

Cheers

0X ey up im lostboy from the uk ive got an 87 long wheel base 2.8 turbo 4trak i bought it for £200 being from the uk its seen a lot of wet weather so the body is a little rough round the edges it already had deep dish alloys a bull bar a tow bar and light guards. from the minute i got in the cab i was smitten.I work in a car dimantlers and ive started gathering stuff 2gether to start modding it. so far ive got seats from a ford probe alloy gear knob,a stainless steel exhaust an air con pump (to make a compressor) and im also a panel beater/sprayer so the body is going to have a severe face lift. As im new to the scene im lacking in ideas for the transformation. but believe me its gonna be wild. watch this space project mudslinger is under way

Hey All,
Been sitting back and watching this site for a while, but decided I should speak up.
It's good to finally find other people who drive rockys/ferozas and actually take pride in them.

My 4by:

'86 F75 Rocky 2.8 DL N/A (Naturally Asmatic) 310,000kms
Alloy bull bar, side steps, scrub bars, roof spotlight bar.
Exractors and 2 1/2 inch exhaust.
Uni filter.
Lovells Leafs all round and Rancho 9000x adj.
Sunraysias with BFG No-Terrains (soon to be replaced with Wrangler MTR's)
2 x Hella Ralley 4000 (Bullbar), 4 x Hella Comet 75's (roof)
Snorkel (3 inch mandrel bent one piece stainless steel... looks shmick'o)
Big Red air comp (Under bonnet)
GME 3400 UHF, Nokia Car kit.
Jackaroo (Montery) bucket seats with armrests
Custom draw system/parcel shelf (Under construction)
Panasonic stereo with stacker.
There are a lot of other little things that make this 4wd unique.

I have rebuilt the Engine, Gearbox, Transfer, Front diff,... every thing almost. Religiously serviced.
Exceptional 4WD and much easier/comfortable to deal with around the city during the week than some other 4wd's.
It's a pity Daihatsu and the general populus never realised this until it was to late.

Future mods:

Finish everything I started
(Rockslides, Air tank,... etc)
Re-spray... one day.
Air lockers... Curently looking into. Have a design all I need is some time and dosh to buy a second hand diff and centre to experiment with. Anybody got old ones lying around?? (I have a mill and a lathe in the shed... No hate mail please!)
Probably more just can't think of them off the top of my head.
Ohh, Turbo intercooled motor if/when I wear this one out.
Yep that'll do it I reckon...

Be good to catch up with other people around south oz (Adelaide) for some 4wheeling some time. :)

Catch ya,
Tristo.
If it doesn't have two sticks, I don't wana know about it!

Hi all,

I'm from Ellensburg, Washington, I have a 1990 Rocky SE that's pretty much stock. Its been in my family since it was new and has come into my hands as of late. The 'Hadouken' as we all call it is my everywhere vehicle and has driven me all over the United States and gotten me through every type of weather imaginable. Its hard to imagine my winter traveling or my summer trips sans roof without it! I'm planning on modding to point, however I'm still wanting to maintain a lot of its on-road drivability as I do travel to visit friends and family out of state a lot.

Currently, its maroon with white tops and a pink "speed" stripe that we all make fun of. I'll get some pics up when I get my digital back from my friends later this week.

Hi, folks, nice to meet you

I'm Ken and my Feroza is a 92' EL-II. I bought the car a few months ago and it's running quite fine after some major maintenance work. I have been thinking of buying a Feroza for more than 10 years. I'm so glad that I can finally own one. Hope it's not too late, the lady is getting old...

Enhancement done include changing the header to MTR and the air filter to K&N.

I always dream that a super-charger can be added, but I know... it probably won't come true.

G'day all. I'm Randal, and am just writing to welcome myself back to the Daihatsu arena. :) I used to have a Daihatsu F10 with a Gemini motor, but while loving the off road ability, on road was painful, noisy and slow.

I have just bought a very stock 1993 Daihatsu FerozaII SXP and am looking forward to adding a few small mods.

Planned Mods
Spotlights
UHF CB
Suspension tweaks for a bit more height
Chunkier tyres
