hi does any one have any input on the hid that go into the h4 glob headlight slot. i am looking at a full kit of hid high beam and hid low beam. its $339 posted anywhere. are these going to be good

Yes But only if they are lower than 6000k
4300 to 5000k is most useable esp in the bush and on wet roads. Any blue and output goes down.

Make sure they are the hi/low beam type instead of low beam only.

I thought there was an issue with fitting them to normal headlights - something about them not being designed for them and would be too much glare for other drivers?

This has to do with the lens's in the headlamps. With the HID's they have a clear lens where the halogen has a lens to break up the light more. It is definately a matter of what you are happy with. For me it doesn't make much of a difference because my truck is lifted 6 inches and I have 180W halogen bulbs in them anyway. :twisted:
