No i would'nt replace o-ring.
Clean off crap from around diff housing using a solvent cleaner, use blue gasket glue when you put the diff centre back in, thats all i use now.

Thanks mate. Is there a brand name for that blue gasket glue or will any do
"Ultra blue" is what you want.
Brand name sold by Loctite is "Blue Max silicone" but everyone should know what your on about if you ask for ultra blue.
Works great for almost any gasket.

I got the whole thing drum to drum and handbrake cable just no centre as mine will be used.
I will have to get some of the Ultra Blue tomorrow
If anyone is interested i have pulled my wide track diffs out, i have the whole lot available with the spaces already on the front and ifs hubs installed plus the ifs rear diff. Centres a re 4:1:1.
