Post by Patrolguy »

Hi All.

For a GU wagon 3.0TDi.

Also for other (3.0TDi, 2.8TDi, 4.2TD, 4.2TDi, 4.5L & 4.8L) models to make it informative for all GU owners!!

Do you think 2.5", 2.75" or 3.0" pipes??

CAT on or off??

Resonator on or off??

Thanks.

I have a 4.5P

I utilised the original cat. The guy told me to save my money. He just cut it further up the pipe to fit 2 1/2".

I have PaceMakers headers with 2 1/2". One straight muffler and 1 straight resonator out the back. Still get a minor drone but the radio fixes that. Glad i didn't blow the money on the cat.

Did notice difference but full effect came when the snorkle was done. Now it drives like a F1 car. unfortunatel it also drinks like one.

Fuel consumption is currently around 17L/100km. Not bad as i know guys with 4.2L TD running at 15-16L/100km.

I know which one i would rather be driving.
Always bet on a Nissan
