The legality of larger tyers

Post by toy75 »

I am planning to put 33's on my 75. I believe that they came standard with 32 splitties. In SA and nationaly you are legally allowed an 15 mm increase in diameter (is this correct?). So this would mean that I can legally run 33's. Just hoping to clarify my understanding.

Cheers

32 to 33 = 1 inch.

1 inch = 25.4mm

You have answered your own question.

The size increase/decrease changes from state to state, but the National Draft Code (there is debate as to when it applies, if it will ever apply, and if state law overrides it - but that's a whole differnt story) - anyway the National Draft Code says 4x4 can go 50mm larger.
