Q for the newy crew
Q for the newy crew
to the newy crew. Just wondering if anyone could recommend a panel beater up that way that could do some panel trimming to my brothers
GU, he has just fitted 37" creepies on his wagon. It has a 5" spring lift
and just needs a bit of a trim in the wheel arches. He is moving up there
this weekend from VIC and knows no one in you area. The rear quarters
have already been chopped and no original bar.

Re: panel shops in newie
Singleton is a fair way out of Newcastle mate. I'm sure there would be plenty of panel shops up there that would do the job.joe crothers wrote:thanks mate he is actually moving to Singleton. Just thought Id suss it out for him before he gets up there. He should find some one no worries

gu panel trimming
thanks to those who RECCOMENED a panel beater with a name and direction for us. A tradesman who has done this job or similar is better
than one who doesnt understand the articulation of a GU with these size
tyres and the exact radius that needs to be trimmed.

I'd be lucky to get a spotters fee myself off the tight asses I work for.GUHOON wrote:I recommend whatever panel shop Mick. works for
(do i get a spotters fee Mick)
We don't do that sort off work except our own 4wds . We only do insuranace work and new car warrenty work for dealerships.
I cant think of anyone off the top of my head that specialised in that type of work but i'm guessing anyone that does restoration work would quite happily do it.
Cheers Mick.
